Matters needing attention before using water-based ink

Water-based inks are made water-based resins, pigments, solvents additives through compound processing grinding. Water solubility is mainly used as a binder to make the pigment particles evenly dispersed, so that the ink has a certain fluidity adhesion, so that the ink forms a uniform film after printing. Precautions before use:

1. Water-based inks cannot be mixed with solvent-based inks, participate in organic solvents such as benzene esters in water-based inks.

2. Water-based ink should be stored indoors at a temperature of 5-40 degrees to avoid direct sunlight.

3. During the printing process, the evaporation of water will cause the viscosity to rise the PH value to drop. Use a PH stabilizer between 8-9.5.

4. Because of the complexity diversity of the printing substrates, before choosing an ink for mass production, the production needs are strictly tested before production.

5. The ink will be gel-like for long-term storage, it needs to be fully stirred during use.

6. After the ink is dispensed, it needs to be allowed to stand for defoaming before use, otherwise bubbles pinholes will occur in the ink layer.

7. Static electricity on the screen printed surface will cause pinholes in the printed ink layer.

8. When printing is suspended for a short period of time, it should be covered with a layer of ink, otherwise it will easily lead to network blocking.

9. Rinse with water immediately after printing, otherwise it is easy to block the net after boring, you can increase the thickness of the screen to reduce the oil blocking net.
